SRAM X.9 Rear Bicycle Derailleur Review: SRAM X9 Mountain Bike Rear Derailleur (Medium Cage). I have this derailleur on four different bikes and I have had no problems whatsoever. I use a long cage when running 3 chainrings and a mid cage with one or two chainrings. Once you set it up and adjust it....you're done.
